I felt the vendor fee was more than fair for the opportunity and the level of event that we were able to be part of. I had zero expectations on what happened business wise after the event. I wanted to let people know that I am here if and when they would need me. Many people already heard of me or were stating that this area needs somebody like me. Almost everybody I met was so excited just to know I am here when they are ready and that was very special to me. I loved my location, vendor neighbors and the good vibes of the room all evening!

two moms, best friends, and the co-founders of SAS Bamboo. Inspired by our daughters, Sofia and Scarlett (our “SAS”), we launched the brand in 2022 to create buttery-soft, high-quality bamboo pajamas with playful prints that are gentle on sensitive skin! Our business has been apart of Motivated Mommies for three years now! Being part of every Sip & Shop for the past three years has been an incredible experience for our business. While the events have helped us grow our brand, the biggest impact has been the sense of community they create. There’s nothing better than meeting customers face-to-face, connecting with other local moms, and seeing familiar faces return year after year. The Sip & Shops have also introduced us to an amazing network of fellow small business owners. The support, friendships, and connections we’ve built through these events have been just as valuable as the sales. We’re grateful to be part of this community!

The ladies are always smiling, helpful and looking for honest feedback which is appreciated. The swag bags were phenomenal. You can’t ask for a better night out with the girls, even as a vendor!

You spend so much time in the beginning trying to perfect your craft and develop a routine for executing your business that you completely forget about the marketing side. It is such a difficult part to advertise yourself, especially in the beginning when you are still stressed with whether people will enjoy your product or not. I didn’t realize how difficult the marketing part would be and I have to be honest, in the beginning Ruby Moon got turned down from pop ups and markets. We had a nice group of customers but we needed that push to get to that next level and I feel like that came from the Motivated Mommies. They reached out last minute for their Sip and Shop and Ruby Moon had to jump on it. At this point I remember being so nervous and asking myself, is my product good enough? Can I actually do this? Motivated Mommies advertised Ruby Moon and the women behind it truly supported and believe in the mom hood/ bread hustle balance. They truly were so sweet and our first Sip and Shop was such a success with a sell out. From that event we gained such a wonderful following with our Instagram gaining lots of new members. Businesses reached out to Ruby Moon for events which was such a wonderful, full circle moment. Motivated Mommies took that new business feeling of “am I good enough?” and turned that into a statement- Yes, Ruby Moon is here and CAN do it. Ruby Moon is coming up on our 5th Sip and Shop which is so exciting because we have such a lovely following now, thank you Motivated Mommies for giving this mom a chance to prove herself and help with that beginner business stress I didn’t see coming. If anyone has that doubt or stress, just know Ruby Moon was there at one point and sees you BUT also know I am here and so is Motivated Mommies to help any way we can! So much love to all you ladies- keep believing! Jillian

This November’s Sip & Shop Event put on by the Motivated Mommies team will be my 5th Sip & Shop as a vendor (I attended one as a guest after having my 3rd child) and I can’t wait! Each event is meticulously and thoughtfully planned start to finish, both on the guest and vendor aspects. The MM team has brought together so many unique and fun aspects to the event that it’s much more than a vendor show; it’s a Sip, Shop, and social gathering of the season! A true mom’s night out!. All of that said, it’s been an honor being a part of the event alongside so so many talented small businesses. The love and dedication felt in the room is empowering. The shoppers, the smiles, the support, the connections made, and the continued growth the event has taken on is what keeps us genuinely happy to keep coming back as a vendor. Thank you to the Motivated Mommies team for bringing the community together!
